Primera Announces BarTender® 2021 Software Now Includes
Print/Cut Capability for LX610 Color Label Printer
World’s most trusted labeling software lets customers design, print, and cut
full-color labels more easily than ever with LX610 Color Label Printer.
PLYMOUTH, MN, USA (November 5, 2020) — Primera Technology, Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialty printers, today announced Seagull Scientific’s BarTender 2021 software for label design and printing is now available with a cut option for Primera’s LX610 Color Label Printer with Digital Die-Cutting™ technology.
LX610 is the only inkjet desktop color label printer in the world to combine high-resolution color label printing with digital die-cutting. Images are printed at up to 4800 dpi onto a variety of different label materials. After each image is printed, it is cut to the desired size and shape with a high-precision carbide steel knife blade. Primera’s other color label printers, including LX500, LX500c, LX600, LX910 and LX2000, can also benefit from the features offered in BarTender 2021. BarTender offers the most frequently used label design features, including text, graphics, barcode and serializing capabilities.
When used with Primera’s LX610, BarTender 2021 allows users to pick one of dozens of included shapes and digitally die-cut the printed label design into this shape. BarTender 2021 is available in four editions. Each addresses a wide range of printing and marking solutions, from small, stand-alone printing environments at SMBs to large, automated printing infrastructures at large enterprises.
“We are excited to partner with Seagull Scientific on our new LX610 printer. Our customers are familiar with and love the features offered by BarTender software. The addition of a cut function adds a powerful feature to those who want to print and cut a variety of label shapes and sizes without having to continually load and unload different pre-die cut rolls,” said Kellie Garber, Primera’s Senior Global Product Manager.
“We’ve enjoyed our long term partnership with Primera Technology, Inc.,” said Michael Leo, Senior Product Marketing Manager, BarTender by Seagull Scientific. “Our newest release, BarTender 2021, together with the Primera LX printer family, offers innovative, new options in commercial-quality label design and print. We consider the way BarTender 2021’s built-in die-cutting capabilities work with the LX610 printer an industry game-changer.”
BarTender Professional Edition sells for $495.00 USD and can be purchased from Primera at www.primera.com.
