Primera Technology has announced the launch of its LX2000 Color Label Printer.
The printer specializes in producing on-demand, short-run labels and can assist companies with:
- Full-color, high-resolution graphics and photos to 4800 dpi
- Printing hundreds of labels a day
- Quickly changing labels to update ingredient information
According to the company, additional benefits include no waste, no lead times, no setup fee, low cost per label, no obsolete inventory, the ability to print all sizes, shapes and substrates from papers, polyesters and vinyl and personalizing your labels one by one.
Easy labeling Primera Technology offers the AP362 label applicator, which has the capacity to apply one or two different labels to a single container. A built-in, spring-loaded pressure arm ensures labels are firmly applied without wrinkles, it says. The applicator also can apply roll-fed, pressure-sensitive labels at speeds as fast as 1,200 labels an hour. The AP362 is quick and easy to set up and ideal for cylindrical containers as well as many tapered containers, including bottles, cans, jars and tubes. ■ Primera Technology, 2 Carlson Parkway, North Plymouth, Minn. 55447; 800/797-2772; primera.com.
